My Duke of gieve isn't moving (visually) did i do something wrong?

I was on the subway on subway and this woman diagonal to me starts stating "That guy has his dick out!" She repeats it over and over again, her voice getting louder and louder. I look over and see the sort of middle-age man who lives in a rooming holding a newspaper over his face.
